New Year New Ideas (Quick Update)

Hello everybody. I hope the holidays treated you well. I’ve been a bit busier than expected, and have done some lounging around. I have worked on the model, but am not quite ready for another update post. Lots of things have been difficult recently, and I’m finding myself closing R without saving more often than I’d like (to undo the damage). Going forward I’ve decided to change the way that I operate this website to make it more about what is important to me. If you’ve been checking the page, you’ll have seen that I’ve been updating Pick History with my predictions even though the blog posts weren’t coming in. I will continue this habit and add a link to the google sheets to look at what opportunity is shown in each league.

We have a bit of a break, with the next game not being until the 10th. This gives me some time to continue experimenting to come up with a real plan and maximize efficiency. I may have a few seperate pick tables and switch to $1 units to test performance if I’m unable to decide which model to use. I’ll hopefully have an update post soon, but I’ve done a lot of work at refining and cleaning up my model recently.

My next post and all posts going forward will include code and graphics, and will be made with a goal of discussing what I’ve learned, what I’ve applied, and what I’m having trouble with. Blog posts going forward will not have picks but that information will still be shown on pick history, as discussed above. I’ll include a link below to a page that has given me great inspiration, as it is what I imagined when I created this website.

Thanks for reading and let’s have a good year.
